DescriptionWolverhampton Art Gallery - geograph.org.uk - 1073196.jpg
English: Wolverhampton Art Gallery This shows part of the west side of the building, a view partly obscured by foliage in the summer.
The gallery was opened in 1884, and was designed by Julius Chatwin. The facing stone is Bath Limestone, and red granite pillars support the front entrance. The first floor has no windows!!! (To allow more wall space for hanging pictures!)
