Summary

Description
English: Vindolanda's Museum - Chesterholm Chesterholm cottage was built in 1832 for Anthony Hedley, Vindolanda's first excavator. It was taken over as the Vindolanda Trust Headquarters and Museum in 1974 and has been sympathetically extended into a fabulous visitor attraction and 'not too big' museum.
