Summary
| DescriptionThe Royal Museum for Central Africa 08.jpg |
English: The Royal Museum for Central Africa or Africa Museum, Park of Tervuren, near Brussels. The museum owes its origins to a temporary exhibition that opened its doors in 1897 as a colonial part of the World Exhibition in Brussels. The French architect Charles Girault drew the plans. On April 30, 1910, the opening of the museum took place. After an earlier restoration ('57-'58), the entire museum site was in need of a thorough renovation (2013-2018), which was carried out under the direction of Stéphane Beel Architects. https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koninklijk_Museum_voor_Midden-Afrika
