Description
English: Ruins of Wolvesey Castle, Winchester Grade-I-listed ruins of a 12th century castle built by Bishop Henry de Blois and formerly the bishop's residence. The castle was destroyed by Puritans in 1646. The current bishop's residence, Wolvesey Palace, dates from 1684; the east wing is on the left.
