English: Old searchlight at Grey Point (1) There was a WWII fort at Grey Point near Helens Bay. It was built to protect Belfast Lough and included a naval gun supplemented by two searchlights. This is the one nearest the mouth of the lough. The fort and grounds are now open to the public.
