Summary
DescriptionLodge at entrance to Sezincote Estate - geograph.org.uk - 246790.jpg
English: Lodge at entrance to Sezincote Estate. The lodge at the western entrance to Sezincote from the Bourton-on-the-Hill to Longborough road. Sezincote House and Gardens were built in 1810 by Charles Cockerell with a very strong Indian character and said to be the inspiration for the Brighton Pavilion. The house and gardens are open to the public at certain times. See http://www.greatbritishgardens.co.uk/sezincote.htm. Unfortunately the day of my visit was not one of them so another visit is required! The house can also be approached from Bourton-on-the-Hill via 246892.
