English: Linby Colliery steam winder.. This is the larger of the two Robey winders at Linby and was built in 1922 with duplex cylinders 32" bore x 48" stroke and a parallel drum 12' diameter. This ran until 1988 and was subsequently scrapped. A driver's eye view in colour is here - 677988. |
