Notes Set of Gold jewellery believed to have belonged to Barbara Taylor nee Innes. Barbara Innes daughter of General James Innes of the Madras Army , married to Lieutenant Colonel William Taylor (1790-1868) of the East India Company's Madras Army. The family settled in Auckland, with the successive arrival of Barbara and William Taylor's sons beginning in 1843, and with Lt. Col Taylor retiring to New Zealand in 1857. His home Glen Orchard, at 91 St Heliers Bay Road, became a registered property under the NZHPT Act in 2010. The son's properties included Glen Innes, Glen Dowie and Alberton.
