Summary

The west front of en:Holkham Hall in Norfolk, England from Matthew Brettingham's The Plans, Elevations and Sections of Holkham in Norfolk (1761). The statement on the plate that this is the east end of the house appears to be an error. The east front has different fenestration and the lake is to the west of the house as shown on this aerial view.
