| Description |
English: Chatterley Whitfield Mining Museum I believe this was the shaft that was used for the original underground "experience". This was the "real McCoy" and I did it once c1979. The real underground was lost when a nearby pit closed and they lost the pumping. A new "underground" was built more or less at ground level but was well done. |
