Summary
DescriptionChambered Cairn in Crarae Gardens - geograph.org.uk - 924194.jpg
English: Chambered Cairn in Crarae Gardens This Neolithic cairn lies within the grounds of Crarae Gardens, and might seem a little incongruous with its present-day surroundings. The opening that is visible here is the burial chamber, measuring about 4m by 1.7m, but the mound of the cairn covers a larger area (it was originally over 120 feet long by 70 feet wide). It dates to about 2500BC.
