Summary

Description
English: Cedar marking St Mary's church There were a succession of churches here from the C13, and in the C19 there was a famous outdoor pulpit. The church was destroyed as a result of bomb damage in WW2 but the cedar has been planted to mark the position of the pulpit on the ground plan of the church in what is now Altab Ali Park, Whitechapel.
