Summary

Description
English: Bancroft Shed engine house. Bancroft Shed closed as a weaving shed in 1978 and was demolished. The engine house, boiler house and chimney were saved and are now operated as a museum. This visit was right at the beginning of the preservation era (we are now a quarter of a century on and a further engine is being installed - from Low Bradley, Yorkshire).
