English: Ballindalloch Castle Originating in the 16th century the attractive central stair tower overtopped by a watchtower was added to the castle in 1602. There have been many later additions both externally & internally & this remains a most comfortable home for the Macpherson-Grant family. There are many fine trees in the surrounding estate in addition to a padigree herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle.
