English: Annie Louisa Pressland painting of the Tea House and lake at Easton Lodge Gardens, Essex, England, printed by J Salmon. Miss Pressland (1862-1933), a Brighton-born painter, studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, and exhibited at the Society of Women Artists, the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, the London Salon, and galleries in Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester. A theme of her work was private gardens, she producing a series of of ten paintings of Easton Lodge under a commission from Countess of Warwick. She designed posters for the Underground Group in 1913, which are held in the collection of the London Transport Museum.
