Description
English: A selection of (mostly) silver and gold items on display at Lanark Museum.

Legend:

1i - Silver Bell 1904, a trophy presented to the winners of the Silver Bell race at Lanark Racecourse; until 1903 the original trophy was given to winners on condition it was returned the following year, from 1904 a replica was given for the winner to keep. This is the first of those replicas.

1j - Silver Bell 1965, the Silver Bell trophy won in 1965 by "Current Speech" ridden by E. Larkin.

1k - Medal presented to J Armstrong Drexel at the 1910 1st Scottish International Aviation Meeting in Lanark for setting a world record for flying at an altitude of 6,595 feet.

1m - Medal presented to all competitors at the 1910 1st Scottish International Aviation Meeting in Lanark.

1n - Medal presented to Cllr James Graham for his participation in the executive committee of the 1910 1st Scottish International Aviation Meeting in Lanark.

1o - Enamelled badge given to members of the executive committee of the 1910 1st Scottish International Aviation Meeting in Lanark.

1p - A medal likely presented to a European competitor at the 1910 1st Scottish International Aviation Meeting in Lanark.

1q - A sestertius of Emperor Antonius Pius, found near Douglas Water.
